Through years of research, we created The Mental Hygiene University™ for people just like you...
We joined forces to found The Mental Hygiene Project® more than five years ago. Our vision has always been to help people achieve better mental health and overall wellness, while being able to enjoy life and truly thrive. Ryan was a firefighter/paramedic for nearly 20 years and has seen firsthand how trauma and stress affect individuals, organizations, and whole communities. He even wrote a book called "Silent Mayday" to help clinicians understand how to work with first responders.
Michael comes from the world of corporate training and consulting and is a Master Trainer with the Harrison Assessment. Having done more than 1,000 individual psychological debriefs, he has come to understand firsthand how stress affects individuals and can lead to mental health "injuries" like depression, anxiety, and other challenges that have an influence on individuals, organizations and entire families.
We have created these courses with the help and input from clinicians and behavioral scientists to ensure that all the content is "peer reviewed" and evidence-based. Our foundational, award-winning program "Psychological Empowerment 360" has even been scientifically validated to achieve significant changes in participants' health, well-being, attitudes, and behaviors.
